    Covid-19: Goa to decide on resuming economic activities by tomorrow, says CM

    Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant said on Thursday that his government will take a decision on resuming economic activities in the state by Friday. 

    “In view of less positivity rate, the expert committee has advised resuming economic activities with 100% capacity. The govt will take the decision by tomorrow & will resume the activities including casinos,” Sawant told news agency ANI.

Ensure no vial of Covid vaccine is wasted: Centre tells states and UTs

Vikas Sheel, health ministry additional secretary, wrote to states and UTs and said the instruction was in reference to the issue of vaccines available at private vaccination centres that were nearing their expiry date.

No report of hostage situation: India on Russia, Ukraine’s allegations

To Russia’s claims that Indian students are held hostage by Ukrainian authorities in Kharkiv, the government on Thursday said it has no such information. Ukraine also alleged that Indians are held hostage by Russian troops.



India is in touch with every Indian stranded in Ukraine and there is no report of any kind of hostage situation, the ministry of external affairs said. (HT_PRINT)
