Felony arrests
Strangulation – Robert William Chalmers, 45, of the 2500 block of Sunnyview Lane, Medford, was arrested by Jackson County deputies Sunday for strangulation pertaining to domestic abuse and misdemeanors. Chalmers was released on his own recognizance.
Criminal mischief – Isaiah Michael Cleveland, 23, of no reported address, Medford, was arrested by Medford police Sunday for first-degree criminal mischief and misdemeanors. Cleveland was released on his own recognizance.
Eluding – Scott Raymond Elam, 33, of no reported address, Medford, was arrested by Medford police Sunday for failing to appear for attempting to elude police by vehicle, misdemeanors and a parole violation. Elma is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail.
Unauthorized vehicle use – Joshua Michael Kirkman, 25, of the 5500 block of South Pacific Highway, Phoenix, was arrested by Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Sunday on these charges: two counts each of failing to appear for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and failing to report as a sex offender, attempting to elude police by vehicle, as well as misdemeanors. Kirkman is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail.
Burglary – Darren M. Nakaishi, 52, of no reported address, Medford, was arrested by Medford police for second-degree burglary and misdemeanors. Bail information was unavailable.
Unauthorized vehicle use – Andrew James Ceremony, 27, of the 4100 block of Old Stage Road, Central Point, was arrested by Central Point police Monday for unauthorized use of an automobile, first-degree criminal mischief and misdemeanors. Bail information was unavailable.
Burglary – Seth David Gunter, 44, of the 600 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland, was arrested by Ashland police Monday for second-degree burglary and misdemeanors. Gunter was released on his own recognizance.
Burglary – Kenneth David Mazzuola, 61, of the 1200 block of Stewart Street, Medford, was charged in Jackson County Circuit Court Tuesday with first-degree burglary, first-degree theft and delivery of methamphetamine. Mazzuola is being held without bail in the Jackson County Jail.
Criminal mischief – Lucien Wayne Pierard, 18, of the 900 block of Dahlia Terrace Eagle Poin, was arrested by Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Tuesday for first-degree criminal mischief, unlawful use of a weapon and misdemeanors. Pierard is being held in the Jackson County Jail on $22,500 bail.
Burglary – Jessy Jacob Randall, 24, of the 2300 block of East Barnett Road, Medford, was arrested by Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Monday for second-degree burglary and misdemeanors. Randall was released on his own recognizance.
Unlawful use of a weapon – Chase Alexander Reyes, 23, of the 2600 block of Delta Waters Road, Medford, was arrested by Medford police Monday for unlawful use of a weapon and a misdemeanor. Reyes was released on his own recognizance.
Unlawful use of a weapon – Luis Sergio Rodriguez Meza, 39, of the 400 block of Haven Street, Medford, was arrested by Medford police Monday for two counts of unlawful use of weapon, attempted second-degree assault, coercion, misdemeanors and probation violations. Rodriguez Meza is being held in the Jackson County Jail on $72,500 bail.
Sexual abuse – Majid Saghatchi, 71, of the 700 block of Stevens Street, Medford, was was arrested by Medford police Tuesday for first-degree sexual abuse and two counts of first-degree sexual penetration. He is being held in the Jackson County Jail on $750,000 bail.
Drugs – Daniel Silva Ledezma, 33, of the 400 block of Hayes Avenue, Medford, was arrested by Jackson County sheriff’s deputies May 25 for two counts of unlawful possession of a marijuana item and one count each of unlawful manufacture and delivery of a marijuana item. Silva Ledezma was released from the Jackson County Jail on bail.
Mail theft – Destiny Lynn Snook, 24, of the 23600 block of Highway 62, Trail, was arrested by Eagle Point police Tuesday for six counts of mail theft and misdemeanors. Snook is being held in the Jackson County Jail on $55,500 bail.
