Seven labourers killed, 10 injured in Belagavi mishap

All the deceased were workers who were travelling from Gokak in Belagavi, said Karnataka labour minister Shivaram Hebbar.

Centre working to strengthen health services: Mandaviya in Tamil Nadu

CPI (M) vows action on Rahul Gandhi’s office attackers amid protests

Police have arrested 32 SFI activists in connection with the case so far, a police official said on Sunday. A total of 19 arrests were made on Saturday. Police said all the arrested persons were identified as local SFI activists and were remanded for two weeks by a local court.

Assam flood fury: 5 more die, toll at 127

Over 2.2 million people in 28 of the state’s 35 districts still remained affected by the floods, and nearly 217,413 displaced people were taking shelter in 680 relief camps, said ASDMA.
