The University of Wisconsin-Extension in Florence County is conducting its Food, Fun and Fitness summer program for students entering first through fifth grades. The theme is “Fun and the Sun” and activities the first week included a slip-n-slide, planting in the garden, making arts and crafts, learning about nature, and a variety of games, said Peyton Prevost, Florence County 4-H Youth Development intern.
